History

It all started when he said, "You should start an association, Niyatii."

A WORD BY NIYATII

One thing I have learnt from Dr. Watsa is to GIVE with open arms.

Every time I met him, whether at his home or conferences, he has either shared an idea with me, or given books to read from his collection, he connected me with so many renowned sexologists. He was my inspiration in the world of sexology and sex education.

In one such visit he said to me, “Niyatii, you should start a volunteering group that can spread sex education to children without any hesitance. You have it in you.” Since that day I manifested about a structure that’s bigger than just me as a trainer; manifested for a group that Dr. Watsa envisioned me creating.

CSESC is that manifestation come true. A vision of Dr. Watsa, a brainchild of Niyatii N Shah. CSESC is a part of Averti Education, a sex education company led by Niyatii. Niyatii has always been passionate about spreading awareness and creating a safe space for individuals to learn about sex and sexuality. In her journey, she has supported

18,000+ families, educated 70,000+ students, and partnered with 65+ schools.

Welcome to the Council of Sex Educators for a Social Change (“CSESC”).

We aim to promote healthy and positive attitudes towards sex and sexuality, bringing about social change through education and advocacy by forming regional councils. We aspire to build a world where all individuals have the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to make informed and healthy decisions about their sexuality and where everyone is treated with respect and dignity regardless of their sexual identity or orientation.

CSESC is the brainchild of Niyatii N Shah and is a part of Averti Education. Niyatii has always been passionate about spreading awareness and creating a safe space for individuals to learn about sex and sexuality. In her journey, she has supported 18,000+ families, educated 70,000+ students, and partnered with 65+ schools.

With Averti Education focusing on providing age-appropriate sexuality education to stakeholders since 2013, Niyatii felt the need for a new-age platform where sex educators may come together and transform society, leading a social change. She looked no further than her immediate circle of trusted friends and colleagues to build the CSESC team.

At CSESC, we are happy to welcome you aboard – whether as a council member or as a subscriber. With events being planned at regular intervals by the councils, we aim to reach as many lives as we can.
