The key role and responsibility of the President of a Council are:

  • To constitute and build a robust team comprising a Vice President
  • Minimum 5 additional MEMBERS as a Vice President and Council members. You can have more than 5 as well to develop your working team. 
  • Members should be from the related city of the Council and must have some experience in the field of sex education.  
  • Working period will be 6 months. You can choose to continue for the next term based on availability.

Additional Roles across the different Council Categories:

  • City Presidents: In this City role, you may work as a council member or apply for City Presidency to take up the volunteering post for the social change in the field of sex education.
  • State/UT Council Presidents: In this State role, the President mentors and co-ordinates with the City Presidents.
  • Regional Council Presidents: In this Regional role, the President mentors and co-ordinates with the State Presidents.
  • National Sector Council Presidents: In this National role, the President mentors and co-ordinates with the Regional Presidents.

Head Council recommendations:
– Collaborate with government bodies, ministries, chambers, universities and non-profits.
– Create your council’s  agenda for your city & serve members’ interests.
– Schedule Weekly Council Meetings.
– Plan the Calendar of Meetings/Roundtables/Actions/Events.
– Publish your collective work on CSESC website or any media.
– Be Active on Social Media: Follow CSESC main pages and share actively about Members and Events on the pages provided by the Head Council.
